what skills so i have now? how can i develop the skills i don't have?
time management
I really need to develop my time management because I spend way to long on small tasks that are not meant to require to much time; I also spend way to much time thinking about assignments instead of just doing them and then when I do do them I go overboard and put to much time and effort into them (this can be a good and bad skill in some ways). This is probably one of the biggest things that I need to work on and I have needed to work on this for a long time because it can cause a big problem.
I could overcome this problem by using a timer for each subject and only allowing the allocated time to do that subject or assignment. I could also just really think to myself, what is really the most important thing I need to be doing and what is absolutely essential to do/ finish tonight. A personal goal that I could set for myself is to try out a timetable for a week or to and just see how time allocation goes with fitting homework in among my other commitments.

organisation
I don't really have a problem with organisation at all because it is something I have been learning/ practicing since year two or three- I don't believe that there is really anything to improve on in this aspect of skills which is quite good I think).
resiliance
I personally need more resilience because I have a small amount at the moment but I think that this could be a skill to improve on a lot. I can do this by not getting in fight and just seeing every one as equals no matter what my views on them are. I can try and be the peace maker in situations and try and help people see the best in situations. A goal that I could set for myself is to be nice to everyone around me and if I don't have something nice to say then just keep my opinion to myself this will then help my resilience towards other people and I think that this would help me if I became a teacher.
responsible
I believe that I am a pretty responsible person but I think I would need to build on being responsible if I was to become a teacher. I think that this would just come naturally by taking school classes and training to be a teacher but if that does not work then I think that I would just have to be very conscience about how responsible I was being and then over time I think that it would just come naturally.
patience
Patience is a very good key skill to have. To be a teacher I think that I would need to work on this because I do not think that I would have the patience to sit with a student who had no idea what they were doing and still didn't get it after me explaining it to them and when you are a teacher that happens a lot. I could do this by positive self talk and by setting small goals for myself. If I was a music teacher I could set goals for myself as following: Get the student to learn three major scales and five notes in the bass clef one week. The next week I could teach the student different note/ rest values and it can go on from there- these are just small things but they could build my patients greatly.
*WHAT WAS JUST SAID ABOVE WERE ALL THE PERSONAL SKILLS MERGED INTO TEACHING*
